Gangwon-do Province's Hill of the Wind is another name for Samsuryeong Pass, which comes from the meaning that wind blows on top of the hill where a wind plant is located. It abuts route 35, and you can ride the Intra-city bus #13 from the Taebaek Bus Terminal and arrive at this area in 20~30 minutes.At the Taebaek Maebongsan Mountain, there is a cabbage field where you can view the beautiful sunrise and sea of clouds, and it has a magnificent scenery of the wide green field.

Maebongsan Mountain is also known as 'Cheonwibong' because it is the area where Baekdudaegan Mountain Range and Nakdong Mountain Range divert. The Maebongsan Mountain meet the sky, which has a cabbage field as large as 1,320,000㎡ from the peak of the mountain. 1000m above sea level, the Gwinemi Village has a cabbage field with an area of 653,000㎡. It has also been introduced in the TV program <1 Night 2 Days> which has become a tourist attraction in Taebaek.
